About Low Volatility Tax Liens
The genesis of the Low Volatility Tax Lien Fund came from Bob Power’s passion for value investing. What he realized immediately was that the return generated by tax liens was fantastic value when compared to the risks taken on.
Having started in the tax lien space in 2019 Bob realized the need and value that comes from scale and decided to set up a fund to benefit from the economies that size brings.
Meet the Principal
Bob is an Irish Chartered Accountant (U.S. CPA equivalent) who trained with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and managed the family affairs of an Irish high net worth individual. Inspired by his father’s care needs, he co-founded, grew, and sold the largest and highest quality home care provider in Ireland, which employed over 1,300 staff and received many awards for its systems and processes and quality of its operations.
He moved to the U.S. in 2014 with his Bostonian wife and family. He is passionate about the continuous improvement of business systems and processes. Bob enjoys parenting his three young boys and following the successes of Boston’s sports teams.
Bob is joined in the small team by a 20 year tax lien industry veteran and administrative / accounting support.
